Call for applications – third round
It is now possible to apply for support from The New Cooperation Fund to develop new relations or strengthen existing partnerships between civil society organisations in the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries and Denmark.
The New Cooperation Fund is established as a part of the New Democracy Fund to support the development of strong, innovative, and long-lasting relations between civil society organisations in the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood Countries and Denmark. The New Cooperation Fund favours strong, innovative, or courageous partnerships that are willing to take risks and are oriented towards cross-thematic synergy or breaking new ground.
New Cooperation Fund provides support for projects and project development that allow civil society actors in Denmark and the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries the opportunity to continue and develop existing partnerships as well as entering new or innovative projects. The purpose of the Fund is to support collaborations that:
- Develop new or innovative people-to-people cooperation and exchange of experience
- Enable the continuation of existing partnerships for further development of valuable experiences and contribute to building sustainable partnerships
- Work within the themes of the New Democracy Fund; youth, media, culture, labour market and climate and environment. There is a cross-cutting emphasis on gender and human rights.
To apply for support to a project, partners from the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries and Denmark must submit a joint application. The Danish partner will be responsible for the project economy, the transfer of funds to ENC partners and the delivery of the partnership’s joint financial, and narrative report to New Democracy Fund by the end of project.
Emphasis is placed on the breadth and depth of the partnerships. The applicants should therefore demonstrate an ambition to establish long-lasting cooperation with a long-term perspective that goes beyond traditional development assistance.
The total budget for this third call for applications is 1.4 million DKK and a maximum of 4 projects will be supported.
The call for applications is open from 23 February to 20 March 2022.
