JOURNALS: HANDS-ON WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG SCHOLARS

The Caucasus Institute in cooperation with the Academic Swiss Caucasus Net invites young researchers in the field of social sciences and humanities to attend a one-day workshop on writing papers for English-language international journals.

Laurence Broers, Editor-in- chief of the Caucasus Survey Journal, London, will rely on his professional experience to coach young scholars in preparing competitive and interesting submissions to academic journals published in English in Europe and the U.S. The workshop will touch on various aspects of the academic writing culture, including structure, language, background, methodology, use of sources, formulation of ideas, etc.

Nina Iskandaryan from the CI will provide assistance with localization and practical assignments.
