Girls in Tech Armenia is happy to announce its first public event which is a 1-Day Power Builder Bootcamp for girls and women who are passionate about technology and entrepreneurship.
This is the first part of the 3-day Startup Success Factors Bootcamp by Hillary Weber, an entrepreneur, Berkeley-Haas MBA, seasoned business leader, leadership consultant, experienced executive and team coach. More about Weber see below.
The program of the bootcamp is designed to have a measurable impact. It allows both aspiring and current women entrepreneurs to walk away with tangible new skills and abilities that will result in positive changes in their economic and social communities.
This is the first, “power builder” module of the whole Startup Success Factors Bootcamp and will include the following:
1. Confidence Building
2. Leadership: Awareness & Skill Building
3. Introduction to Entrepreneurship:
a. Vision & Mission
During the virtual interactive workshop created and run by Hillary Weber from San Francisco, participants will begin with Confidence Building, delving deep into themselves, sharing feelings and experiences with others, and learning concrete skills that allow them to let go of self-criticism. They become more self-assured, bolstered by the company of their peers in a safe learning environment.
The next portion covers Leadership – participants will be inspired by speakers from their area – and, they will also realize that they have the capacity to define leadership for themselves, and to lead and inspire those around them. The hands-on team exercise reveals surprising results; it provides a lasting impact through experiential
learning.
Finally, the third portion features an introduction to Entrepreneurship, which centers around creating and communicating a Vision/Mission. This exercise builds on the Confidence and Leadership portions, and sets them up for further development, ideally within the following two modules of the same bootcamp. Girls in Tech Armenia plans to host Hillary Weber for those two sessions some time already in upcoming spring in Yerevan.
This virtual Power Builder Bootcamp will be held in English on 26 February, Saturday, at ISTC, from 10am to 4:30pm, including 2 short breaks and a short lunch. The bootcamp is considered for a large audience, but has limited seats, so pre-registration is required. There’s an entrance fee of 5000 AMD for each participant, which covers also the coffee and light snacks during the bootcamp. After the pre-registration via the following link, participants will be contacted for confirmation and for further instruction on fee payment - http://bit.ly/2keMvvp.
