Netherlands Fellowship Programmes II

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building by providing training and education for professionals. The NFP was initiated and is fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation. EP-Nuffic is responsible for the management of the NFP.
Aim
The overall aim of the NFP is to help increase both the number and the competencies of skilled staff at a wide range of governmental and non-governmental organisations. You have to be nominated by your employer to be eligible for the fellowship. There also has to be a clear need for training within the context of your organisation.
After completing your training you return to your original workplace. This ensures the training is embedded within your organisation.
You will improve your knowledge and skills, learn about relevant global developments in your field and build an international network. The result is twofold: for your employing organisation, it represents a direct investment in staff development; for you as a professional, the training is a valuable asset in your further career.
Detailed program description and application instruction can be found atwww.nuffic.nl/nfp.
Questions can be addressed to the fellowship officer at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Ms. Sopho Kotiashvili by telephone 2276200 (from abroad +995 32 2276200) or email [email protected].
Tailor-Made Training programme
The Tailor-Made Training programme (TMT) is one of the modalities of the NFP. A tailor-made training course is designed to meet specific needs of a requesting organisation.
You can find more information and an overview of the criteria for TMT on the Nuffic website www.epnuffic.nl/en/tmt .
