Russian-Armenian University (RAU) is pleased to welcome Professor Giorgio Dominese the founder of Central Eastern European University Network (CEEUN) and President of Transition Studies Research Network in Venice who will run seminar series at the RAU Institute of Economics and Business.
The topics of the seminars are:
Day 1- New Theories of Growth, Human Capital, Technology and Policy Choices under the Global Governance conditionality;
Environment and Climate factors introduced with COP 21 Paris 2016, final agreements and their impact on reshaping World Economy, Development and International Relations by 2040;
Day 2 - Law and Economics as converging disciplines into hybrid curricula for the future researchers and professionals;
Day 3 - Reshaping International Relations and the notion of national sovereignty to push ahead the transcontinental and regional economic, financial, logistic and growth targets of the individual countries without losing their identities.
The topics of the seminars are:
Day 1- New Theories of Growth, Human Capital, Technology and Policy Choices under the Global Governance conditionality;

The length of the seminars is 3 days. By the end of the course all participants will submit short papers covering the topics introduced at the seminars and receive certificates of completion from the RAU Institute of Economics and Business.
The seminars are designed for the researchers, junior lecturers and PhD students of the Russian-Armenian University to enhance their qualifications through series of advanced trainings. People from outside the university are also welcome to participate.

Giorgio Dominese is the founder of Central Eastern European University Network (CEEUN) and President of Transition Studies Research Network. He is the editor of journals published by Transition Academia Press such as Transition Studies Review, the Journal of Global Policy and Governance, and Mittelforum and Next Europe. Professor Dominese is a partner of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe. For many years he has been a partner of the Scientific Boards of the Austrian Institute of Economic Research in Vienna and a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg.
For more than fifteen years Professor Dominese worked as the Chair of Economy and Policy of Transitions at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where in 2011 - 2013 he was also the Chair of Geopolitics at the Master of Science in International Relations. Giorgio Dominese was the Professor of Transition Economy at the University of Udine and a lecturer at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He used to lecture in English at the course in European Economy and Financial Governance at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Giorgio Dominese’s interest in Chinese economics and politics made him a visiting Professor at the best universities in China, such as the Fudan University in Shanghai, the Peking University and the Renmin University of China in Beijing, Tianjin University and others. He is a member of a promising Think Tank called New Silk Road/One Belt One Road established in Shenzhen on 23 February, 2016.
As a visiting professor he worked at the universities in Taiwan, the USA, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Estonia, Russia, Latvia, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Georgia, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, and Argentina.
He was an expert for the Italian Government, the Regional Government of Veneto and for entrepreneurial federations at national and international levels. After the conflict in Balkans (1999) he was a member of the follow up group of the EU Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe.
A professional investigative journalist for almost 20 years he was in a special envoy for newspapers and journals authoring reports, articles and comments on politics, international relations, strategic studies, economics, finance, society and global governance.
