UNCCD երիտասարդական ֆորում 2017

Young people are an important reserve force for the development of sustainable green world. The United Nations to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) recognizes the important roles that the youth plays in combating land degradation and promoting sustainable land management. The empowerment of young people to protect and restore degraded ecosystem will lead to green innovations that will contribute to achieving development goals, in particular target 15.3 on Land Degradation Neutrality. 

We are pleased to announce that the first UNCCD Youth Forum will be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, from 8-10 September 2017. We would like to invite young people and youth organization representatives to apply and participate in this international youth event. The Forum will be the platform for youth to voice their concerns, commitment and share their experience in combating desertification and land degradation.

Successful candidates will be sponsored for their international travel to China including accommodation.
