U.S. Embassy Yerevan is pleased to announce the second round of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program competition for fiscal year 2018. The program funds initiatives that develop democracy, promote respect for human rights, and support civic education in Armenia.
Call for Sub-Grant Application from CSO Coalitions (Networks) for the development, advocacy and monitoring of Public Policies in the Justice and Public Finance Management Sectors

The Project was launched on 15 December 2016. It is implemented with the financial support of the European Union (EU) for duration of 34 months. The overall objective of the Action is to enhance the influence of CSOs on the public policy process, and the specific objectives are to strengthen the ability of CSOs to build coalitions and focus on constructive and strategic policy engagement with local and central government partners.
EU OPEN Media Hub: Receive funding for your stories about Armenia

Stories should be non-time sensitive, provide in-depth explanations and highlight unreported aspects of ongoing and recent events in the country. They should be of two types up to 12 or up to 26 minutes long (for broadcast media) and in the formats of long reads, ‘webdocs’ or or portfolios (for online media). More information on the competition and the eligibility criteria can be found here.

Financial Support to Third Parties: Innovation Seed Grant Call

This Innovation Seed Grant call is launched by the Bridge for CSOs Programme implemented by Armenian General Benevolent Union in partnership with Eurasia Partnership Foundation and funded by the European Union. The global objective of the action is to strengthen and build the capacity of Armenian civil society to effectively contribute to decision making processes in Armenia. The specific objective is to improve organisational capacities of CSOs to better respond to citizen’s needs.

The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project (hereafter: Project) is implemented by a consortium of the following civil society organisations: “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO (the lead organisation), “International Centre for Human Development” Public Organisation “SME Cooperation Association” NGO, Union of Communities of Armenia, “Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS” NGO, and Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic). The Project aims at reinforcing civil society voice and dialogue with the government.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best Polish language publication on the history of Polish diplomacy. The competition welcomes books published in 2017. Historians are invited to make their submissions until 15 May 2018
