In May 2017, Bratislava will yet again become a hub of security and foreign policy making, as top government, military and diplomat officials as well as business and NGO leaders will gather for the 12th annual GLOBSEC 2017 Bratislava Forum. On this occasion, we are seeking to engage exceptional young professionals in GLOBSEC 2017 Young Leaders’ Forum; the CALL FOR APPLICANTS is now open until 26 March, midnight CET.
The aim of GLOBSEC Young Leaders’ Forum is to give emerging influencers and future decision makers an opportunity to contribute new ideas to the debate on security, foreign policy and economy, improve their policy making skills and engage in networking with their peers and senior policy makers. We are looking for 30 inspirational young leaders between the age of 25 and 35, with diverse professional and academic background.
We are currently seeking applications from exceptional candidates from all NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) countries [1] as well as Mediterranean Dialogue members [2] and other NATO partner countries.
GLOBSEC Young Leaders’ Forum
GLOBSEC Young Leaders’ Forum unites emerging leaders from countries of NATO and beyond with the vision of creating a vibrant dialogue, building networks and encouraging future collaboration on issues pertaining to transatlantic relations, EU and world economy issues, but also other pressing global economic and political challenges. - Private dialogue and best practices sharing via Facebook Group
- Content preparation in GYLF working groups (recommendations for main panel discussions) prior to a face-to-face interaction with leaders at the Forum
- Participation in GLOBSEC 2017 Young Leaders’ Forum
- Establishing professional contacts with peers and senior stakeholders
For those selected, accommodation and board subsidies are available to help offset the participation cost. The organisers do not cover the transportation costs for participants of GYLF. Travel grants may be available on individual basis and only to selected participants up to the price decided by the organisers.
