Today's Europe becomes a new home for vast number of people who flee from military conflicts, dictatorships or any other circumstances. In this new situation, the multicultural society becomes an expanding reality where both the European governments and Civil Society have to respond to International migration is an important issue in the modern world. Moreover, current migration processes largely affect young people. According to the UN DESA Population Division, in 2010 there were 27 million international migrants aged 15 to 24 in the world, accounting for 12.4 per cent of the 214 million international migrants worldwide.
Many of those young people become victims of discrimination and often subject to bullying. What is more, youth is often excluded from the public debate on migration and their voice is hardly heard. And here, Civil Society, youth organizations and youth workers can play an important role.
