Biography

Isabella Sargsyan is Project Management and Communication specialist with 15 years of experience. Her specialization includes the theory and practice of human rights, conflict transformation, research, training and communications. She also have an extensive training provision and consultancy experience working as an invited trainer and consultant for various organizations including Council of Europe, OSCE, UNIFEM, SOS Children’s Villages, Saferworld, CARE and others.

Isabella is also knowledgeable in the application of modern communication and information technologies to improve branding and programming of organizations, increasing visibility of action in the fields of civil society at large, marketing of SCO services and promotion of civic activism as well as in the practical use of social media, multi-media and other innovative platforms for public engagement; organizational networking, conducting campaigns and advocacy through Internet. Isabella has significant experience in public speaking practiced broadly in large-scale events and TV talk shows. Having her educational background in sociology and religion, Isabella has a proven record of leading large-scale studies, conducting research projects and developing policy recommendations. She is a fellow of Heirich Boell Foundation and author/editor of number of publications. Her strengths include strategy development, program design, and project management, particularly in the areas of media, journalism, human rights, and conflict resolution․
