Biography

A committed professional, experienced in the fields of business management and nonprofit sectors. Experienced in strategic and operational planning, financial forecast and oversight of large scale strategic operations in multi-partner and multi-cultural consortium settings. Marina has over 15 years of experience in the field of promoting democracy, community development, socio-economic development, civil society and grant-making, and managing grant portfolios of more than 3 mln. USD funds. Fundraising experience of more than 4 mln USD in a five-year period. Extensive work experience with a broad spectrum of businesses, diplomatic missions, and government structures, non-governmental organizations, consulting agencies, working in the sectors of: research coordination, business advocacy, information technologies, tourism, agriculture, education, vulnerable groups, law and civil rights and others. Effective record of developing linkages between public sector and donors, development of the methodology of introducing corporate social responsibility to local businesses. Experience in development and application of impact based program design, program logical frameworks, monitoring and evaluation guidelines. Good presentation, communication, public speaking and negotiation skills. Excellent administrative and program management skills in multinational environments. Experienced in planning and implementation of large-scale events: forums, conferences, policy discussions, business trips, exchange programs and others. Good knowledge of grant and technical service management policies of US AID, EU funding instruments and other major donor procedures.
