If you are looking to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills and be part of a dynamic team, then the Junior Fellowship program at Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC)-Armenia Foundation is an excellent opportunity for graduates and young professionals.
Learning outcomes
· Research experience in different projects conducted by CRRC-Armenia
· Advanced proficiency in essential computer programs, including statistical data analysis software, data visualization and video scribing tools
· Experience in project management and obtaining necessary skills to succeed in future career
· Wide network of collaboration, working with experienced and committed colleagues thus growing into an active member of the CRRC-Armenia team, benefiting from CRRC-Armenia services (databases, library, network)
· A two-month fellowship with a monthly stipend of gross AMD 120.000.
Primary Responsibilities
· Support in implementation of CRRC-Armenia’s ongoing projects: conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze data and summarize project results
· Prepare, draft and edit reports of current projects and presentation materials
· Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling, presentation preparation, event organization as well as management of documentation
· Write a blog post by completion of the Fellowship
· Provide monthly short progress reports and a final evaluation report
· Attend staff meetings and project meetings as necessary
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
· Be a citizen of Armenia between the age of 22 and 30 holding a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (PhD holders are not considered for this fellowship program)
· Communicate fluently in English (speaking & writing) as well as have excellent writing skills in Armenian
· Commit 40 working hours (5 days) per week for the whole contract period starting from mid-November to the end of January
· Have a very good command of MS Office; knowledge of statistical software is desirable
· Have organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
· Good communication and team working skills
The Application process
Step 1: Fill out this application form and submit it no later than October 29, 2017, 12:00 a.m.
Step 2: If you are short listed, you will be asked to take a test on October 31, 2017.
Step 3: After the test, you will be invited for an intensive training on data analysis using SPSS on November 2, 2017.
Step 4: The best two candidates will be selected to receive Junior Fellowships and will join CRRC-Armenia team from November 6 to December 31, 2017.
