Call for Applications: A Joint Online Training Program by The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) South Caucasus office
The aim of this online training course is to familiarize participants with qualitative and quantitative research designs. The course objectives include: Providing theoretical and practical knowledge of the steps in carrying out research; Enabling an understanding of various quantitative and qualitative research methods and their application; Teaching ability to analyze data gathered with quantitative or qualitative methods.
The course will be equally practical and theoretical and participants will have the opportunity to employ what they have learned through interactive exercises and assignments.
- Applicants should be citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan or Georgia;
- Applicants must have a strong interest and some background in social science research;
- Should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or another relevant discipline;
- Should be familiar with Microsoft Office programs;
- Knowledge of statistical programs such as SPSS, Stata or R is desirable;
- Should have excellent English language skills;
- Should be willing to commit at least five days a month (30 Hours in total) for two months (November/ December 2020) for the online training program which will be provided by CRRC Georgia.
