Content expert-facilitator in entrepreneurship education for “Youth Economic Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship” project

Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan is recruiting Armenia based content expert-facilitator with extensive
knowledge in social entrepreneurship education to create curriculum content/module for the Social
Entrepreneurship School and to facilitate 6-day cross-border Social Entrepreneurship School from 24-30
September, 2018 in Dilijan, Armenia.
Background Information:
“Youth Economic Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship” project is built on the belief that the potential of young social entrepreneurs to actively participate in rural development in Eastern Partnership countries is enormous and, therefore, development of the social entrepreneurship culture and unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of rural youth in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova can boost the social transformation of the economy and, in the long run, contribute to resilience and wellbeing of our communities. We consider that the promotion of entrepreneurial skills of youth and fostering establishment of social enterprises are crucial milestones for the socio-economic development of the rural areas. The experience of several developing countries demonstrates, that rural areas are the perfect places for social enterprises to be established and young people are the most successful social entrepreneurs.
“Youth Economic Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship” is a collaborative project of 3 non-governmental organizations from Armenia, Georgia and Moldova aimed at economic empowerment of rural youth through social entrepreneurship. The project aims at unleashing the entrepreneurial potential of rural youth and boosting their socio-economic engagement through series of capacity building events and gamification on social entrepreneurship and social innovation. On the policy-making level, the project aims to advocate for more incentives for young people in rural areas to set up their own social enterprises.
The aim of the project is: To unleash the entrepreneurial potential of rural youth and boost their socio-economic engagement through series of capacity building events and gamification on social entrepreneurship and social innovation in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova.
Target group: Youth and young professionals, aged 18-28, from rural and remote urban areas the 3 target regions of Armenia, Georgia and Moldova.
Requested expert-facilitator profile
-Advanced knowledge and expertise on curricula development on social entrepreneurship
-Strong knowledge of Eastern Partnership region in the context of social entrepreneurship
-Conceptual and practical knowledge and training experience in working with non-formal educational approach in social entrepreneurship; have been involved in delivering training in English language for at least 2 years, and implementing a learning process in at least international and/or intercultural youth training activities.
-Have an experience of working with mixed and international groups, experience in training of groups with 30-35 participants
-Proficiency in English language, knowledge of Russian language is desirable
-Based in Armenia (international travels are not covered by the project)
Working conditions
Main Responsibilities:
-*To develop of a training module on youth social entrepreneurship in the context of rural
development in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova.
-To facilitate 6 day intensive cross-border Social Entrepreneurship School (from 24-30
September, 2018) for 30 participants from Armenia, Georgia and Moldova
-To develop the learning curricula and the framework of the workshops;
-To develop the latest version of the daily program at least 2 weeks before the workshop;
-To develop the relevant session outlines at least 3 weeks before the Social Entrepreneurship School;
-To be present at the workshop and implement the tasks in a collective way;
*The module is to be comprised of interactive and experiential methods and tools which focus on how social entrepreneurs in the Eastern Partnership countries can use entrepreneurial approaches and social innovation to solve some of the most pressing social economic issues. The training module is to be deployed during the Social Entrepreneurship Schools (in Armenia and Ukraine) building capacities of 30 potential young entrepreneurs from Armenia, Georgia and Moldova. It will be included in the publication on “Social Entrepreneurship in Eastern Partnership Countries” and shared with relevant stakeholders. The developed module will be used in delivery of the training in SE School in Ukraine, conducted by the member of our consortium.
Financial Conditions:
-The financial remuneration depends on the expertise and competence of the expert. Please submit a Price Quotation – with the price for creation of the curriculum content/module for the Social Entrepreneurship School and for the facilitation of 6-day cross-border Social
Entrepreneurship School in Dilijan, Armenia.
-Travel, food, lodging and cost of materials will be fully covered by Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO
