Call for Participants: World House of Rondine
Rondine opens the call for participants for the 2022-2024 World House program, offering fully-funded scholarships to young professionals for high-level training in conflict transformation and a Master’s in Italian universities.
Rondine is an Italian-based NGO engaged in the promotion of dialogue and conflict transformation since 1998. It works in higher education with young people from conflict and post-conflict areas (Middle East, Balkans, Caucasus, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America) and has developed an original program based in the World House of Rondine (Tuscany).
The call is open to applicants aged 21-28, holders of a Bachelor's degree, and engaged in civil society. Selected participants will spend two years working on peace-building and conflict transformation, combining innovative training with an academic program in Italy.
The World House program lasts two years: during this period, participants can experiment innovation through conviviality, daily activities, non formal and formal education.
At the end of the two-year period, the youth of the World House have the tools to promote action and develop concrete social, political and economic projects in their own countries and to be leaders in contexts characterized by transformation, elevated complexity, and high conflict.
Currently, the World House hosts thirty students from twenty-five different countries in Europe, Africa, America and the Middle East.
The deadline for application is December 15, 2021. Applicants should submit required documents to [email protected].
