Overview
CSP trains practitioners of mainstream conflict transformation and transitional justice perspectives to improve their work, regardless of their programmatic specialty. Scholars learn to analyze conflicts, understand the factors that create and sustain conflicts, and gain a practical understanding of approaches to resolving conflicts. They will further develop their skills by traveling into communities surrounding Panchgani to observe and experience peacebuilding and development work in the field.
Through interaction with a diverse array of peacebuilders and practical experience in the field of sustainable development, scholars will leave better prepared to address the conflicts that they face in their communities.
In addition to this academic coursework, scholars will work in teams to provide service in the conference center. IofC champions the cause of ‘service for leadership,' creating a cohesive community among conference participants and scholars.
