The AUA Center for Responsible Mining is implementing the Mining Sector Policy Dialogue, Information Portal, and Youth Engagement project as a subgrantee to the Transparency International Anticorruption Center’s (TIAC’s) grant from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
One of the goals of this project is to initiate a policy dialogue process on mining, where stakeholders will deliberate on select mining policy issues. In preparation for such discussions, the project will produce discussion papers and policy briefs on four topics listed below (see links for ToRs):
1. Work Conditions and Occupational Safety in Armenia's Mining Sector
2. Disaster Resilience in Armenia's Mining Communities
3. Mitigating the Negative Legacy of Mining in Armenia
4. Environmental and Public Health Responsibility of Armenia's Mining Sector
We are looking for experts who could prepare these discussion papers/policy briefs.
