“Dialogue for the Future 2021” is an international networking conference that provides a forum for ideas and exchange between civil society actors and experts on sustainability and digitalisation. In 2021, the conference will be held in a hybrid format and divided into two phases. The first phase, 3 – 5 of June, will be conducted online and focuses on organisational and digital sustainability in the frames of the Agenda 2030.

Rowena Hennigan
Rowena Hennigan will host a session about Sustain-able Remote Work Opera-tions & Practices. Rowena is a globally recognised Remote Work Expert.
Natia Zoidze
Meet Natia Zoidze, one of the speakers of the discussion “Resilience in your Community amid global crisis”. Natia is the Executive Director of a Georgian NGO Sector 3.
Stefan Henkel
Meet Stefan Henkel, our wonderful moderator of Panel Discussion on Partnerships during the warm-up event on May 31st. Stefan is a PM at Ukraine Calling - Cross-Sectoral Capacity Building.
Linnéa Muehlenkamp
Linnéa will be giving a workshop about the Toolbox, a set of methods for organisational and team development, based on a participatory approach. She is a Program Manager at MitOst e.V.
Julian Gröger
Meet Julian Gröger, an environmental actvist at Moldovian EcoVisio. Julian will be holding a session about a pressing issue – collaboration between Municipalities and Civil Society.
Dr. Ingeborg Niestroy
Dr. Ingeborg Niestroy is our keynote speaker and will be presenting Sustainable Development Goals on the first day of the conference. She is a policy analyst and researcher at IASS.
Two things that are special about this year's event are that you will have an opportunity to win mini-grants and a trip to Berlin for the second phase of the conference. During the conference, you will be able to post your project ideas on the Ideas' Wall in our virtual conference centre. The 12 people that got the most likes for their project ideas will be granted a chance to present them on the last day of the conference. Our independent jury will then pick five winners. The best five ideas will receive mini-grants amounting to a total of 3500 euro. The money will be divided this way: 1000 euro for the 1st place, 750 euro for the 2nd and 3rd, and 500 euro for the 4th and 5th place.
Everyone who presents an idea will be invited to Berlin in Mid-September. There you will strengthen the relationship with your project partners, visit Berlin-based NGOs and brainstorm your future project. We will support you in the application process for the funding programme “Expanding Cooperation with Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia”.
Warm-up Event: Come to the Civil Dialogue on Partnerships!
The conference week will kick off with a warm-up event on May 31st at 16 o’clock CEST, consisting of a panel discussion about partnerships. Stefan Henkel from Ukraine calling, Tatevik Hakobyan from EENCE, Olena Zakharova from CPI “Ideas for Change” and Dr Nelya Rakhimova will discuss how we can move from competitive to the partnership-based relationship between NGOs.
