The European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE) cordially invites you to take part in an online debriefing with domestic citizen election observers and election experts to discuss the ongoing municipal elections in Armenia and their significance to Armenia's democratic development and the current political climate in the country. The first two dates of municipal elections have passed, October 17 and November 14, but one more Election Day is taking place on December 5. These municipal elections are the first to take place after reforms passed in June 2020 which introduced the proportional party list system to cities with over 4,000 registered voters and following a series of municipal amalgamations, which would bring more communities up to the 4,000 mark.

The debriefing will be held online on Zoom and under Chatham House rule. The registration to the events is upon invitation only. English is the main language of the event, interpretation from/to Armenian is provided when requested by the speakers.
