Inovatoriu slenis in Lithuania is looking for young people from Armenia, Italy and Ukraine for its “Growing together” project. The objective of the project is to bring young people together to create a more inclusive society, support vulnerable people and solve societal challenges.

The volunteers will receive a training in the beginning of the volunteering experience and a mid-training with other volunteers that are experiencing the same individual volunteering with the European Solidarity Corps in Lithuania.

Accommodation, food allowance and transportation costs are covered by the organisers.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The team of "Growing together" project aims to bring young people together to create a more inclusive society, support vulnerable people and solve societal challenges. We want to give an inspiring experience young people of independence. The goals of the project are: -To create space for personal and social growth of young people with fewer opportunities, and to increase employability of participants. -To increase solidarity among young people through creative and practical heritage protection activities and a structured group process.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

During the individual volunteering, the participants have their own room; during volunteering tems the participants are accommodated in 3/4 places rooms. Regarding the food, during the individual volunteering the participants receive pocket money for food; during volunteering teams a catering sevice is provided for all the duration of the project. Is possible to arrive in the village of Antalieptė with direct public transport from Vilnius.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

Regarding the individual volunteering, the volunteers will receive a training in the beginning of the volunteering experience and a mid-training with other volunteers that are experiencing the same individual volunteering with European Solidarity Corps in Lithuania. About the short-term volunteering, the participants will attend an "on-arrival training" in the beginning of the project, to ensure that the group will have a previous team building, before the start of the activities.
