International Hrant Dink Award is waiting for your nominees!
We are writing you in order to seek your support in announcing the nomination process for the International Hrant Dink Award.
Hrant Dink Foundation thinks that it is important to invite a wide scale of nominations to ensure that the individuals and groups, who engage in invaluable local work to have the chance to be nominated. The primary aim of the International Hrant Dink Award is to give these people the message that their voices are heard and that their works are visible and they are not alone.
This year, the awards will be presented for the tenth time. The call for nominations will continue until the 30th of April 2018.
Every year, the Award is presented to individuals, organizations or groups that work for a free and just world free from discrimination, racism and violence, who take personal risks for achieving those ideals, who break the stereotypes and use the language of peace and by doing so give inspiration and hope to others. Since 2009, the International Hrant Dink Award is presented annually at an award ceremony organized on Hrant Dink’s birthday, September 15th.
You are more than welcome to nominate persons, organisations or institutions that fulfil the above mentioned criteria by submitting their names to [email protected].
We look forward to your contributions to the nomination process for the International Hrant Dink Award.
We would be happy if you can disseminate the call for nominations in your social media networks.
