Background Information: SPPA- Armenia is a 5-year program, funded through German Cooperation with Armenia via the KFW. The program involves the following Protected Areas: Shakahogh State Reserve, Arevik National Park, Zangezur, Khustup, Boghakar, Plane Grove and Sev Lich (Black Lake) State Sanctuaries. The purpose of the Programme is the improvement of natural resources and protected areas management, while at the same time improving the socio-economic situation of adjacent local rural communities.
Programme executing agency is the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia. Implementation Consultant (GITEC Consult GmbH in joint venture with Eco Consult and CONSECOARD) will support Armenia’s Government to effectively manage this Programme.
The Employer is seeking to engage a consultant to conduct boundary demarcation and land cadastral work for selected PAs in South Armenia as described in the Tender Documentation.
