Position: Development Assistant (full time, 12 months initially)

Purpose of the Job: To expand EPF’s Development team, we seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive individual who will support EPF in developing and implementing its fundraising strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support in identifying grant announcements, distributing them to relevant personnel, maintaining the announcements and donors’ database, and sourcing new grant announcement channels,
- Maintaining and expanding the database of potential partners including European, EaP, Central Asian, and US-based organizations, experts, specialists, and contacts,
- Supporting the identification and outreach to potential partners in Armenia and abroad,
- Support in preparing proposal development plans, assigning responsibilities, establishing a timeline, and ensuring timely submission,
- Storing all written proposals, organizational descriptions, and related documents, updating them as necessary based on changing circumstances or EPF’s updated programming,
- Supporting the development of logframes, proposal sections, budget, and budget notes,
- Preparing supporting documentation for proposals, including CVs, partnership letters, budget narrative, and other forms requested by the donors,
- Collecting and keeping a repository of CVs of consultants,
- Support in preparing documents and various visual materials to support organization’s fundraising and development activities,
- Growing into a proficient proposal and budget developer with the team.
Note: this position mainly supports fundraising and proposal writing process; the contents of a proposal are usually developed by the programmatic staff. If the position holder can contribute to content development as well, this will be a plus.

On-the-job training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Two years of professional experience (three years preferred), preferably in civil society sector, or another relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the humanities and/or social science fields. Master’s is preferred. Education and other experience abroad is a plus.
- Some knowledge of donors, their policies.
- Capacity to analyze fast, understand, distinguish, and present donor requirements, identify major issues.
- Proven record of successful team work, especially team coordination.
- High level written and verbal proficiency in Armenian and English (knowledge of Russian is an advantage.)
- High literacy, i.e. capacity to develop quality written texts in English and Armenian; proven record of producing and editing texts.
- Experience in budgeting, managing databases is preferred.
Remuneration:
Salary will be competitive corresponding to the proven record of experience, education and other qualities necessary for the position.
