MEDIA CAMP FOR JOURNALISTS FROM MOLDOVA, BELARUS, ARMENIA, GEORGIA, AND UKRAINE
NGO Lviv Media Forum is looking for participants for Media Camp, a project for journalists and media researchers. The project is aimed at developing and strengthening professional networking between journalists of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and a pool of experts.

During a week journalists and media experts from Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and Ukraine will attentively analyse media processes in former USSR countries, take part in meetings and discussions with experts, get acquainted with Ukrainian media outlets and NGOs. Also, the participants are expected to make short presentations for their camp counterparts about the political and economic situation in their own countries.
The programme fits for journalists and analytics whose professional activity consists in covering and evaluation of post-Soviet region development. Team of Lviv Media Forum sincerely encourages you to apply for the Media Camp if you’re a journalist covering international affairs, if you are looking for new contacts with colleagues, if you are researching the issues of Central East Europe or the development of the media industry in the region.
Media Camp for Journalists takes place in Lviv on September, 20-27. The organizers cover the expenses on travel and health insurance. The participants are provided with dwelling and meals. On top of that every Media Camp participant receives the free ticket to VIII Lviv Media Forum, the biggest media conference of CEE region, that gathers together about 1000 participants from more than 25 countries throughout the world. VIII Lviv Media Forum will be held in Lviv in May 2021.
Before travelling to Ukraine the selected participants must take COVID-19 tests. The cost of the test is reimbursed by the organizers.
In case you’re interested to take part in the programme but you can’t go to Lviv because of the quarantine restrictions, it’s possible to participate in the Camp online.
