PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANTS POSITION
Job Description
Save the Children in Armenia calls for applications to update its pool of proposal developers. A framework agreement will be signed with successful applicants who will provide proposal development consultancy/services on need basis and at fixed rates. Selected applicants will closely cooperate with Save the Children in Armenia Programme Development and Quality (PDQ) team.
Job Responsibilities
-The Consultant will be responsible for development of concept notes and proposals based on the presented project ideas, including
-Elaboration of logical framework in close consultation with the PDQ team
-Research as might be needed for project rationale
-Concept note/proposal write-up compliant with the respective donor standards and requirements.
Required Qualifications
-University degree (Master’s or PhD) in social sciences or linguistics with additional formal or informal education in the field of children’s rights, child protection, children with disabilities
-Knowledge of Armenia’s child protection system, related policies, reforms and legislation; or
-Knowledge of Armenia’s education system (with emphasis on inclusive education), related policies, reforms and legislation; or
-Knowledge of Armenia’s Disaster Risk Reduction system, related policies, reforms and legislation; or
-Knowledge of refugee issues, related policies, reforms and legislation in Armenia
-Knowledge of strategic priorities, as well as standards and requirements of the major donors active in Armenia
-Proficient knowledge of and outstanding writing skills in English
-Excellent research and analytical skills
-High sense of responsibility.
