RSC Executive Training Course, 1-5 September 2015
Starting next week, the Regional Studies Center (RSC) is offering the latest in a series of structured, certificate-based series professional training courses for graduate students and young professionals. Our latest certified executive training course offers a focused, innovative and interactive two-hour seminar consisting of four specific topics:
(1) Research, Writing & Analysis, with an instructive guide to research methodology, analytical writing techniques and critical analysis;
(2) Scenario-Based Modeling Exercise, based on an interactive “role-play” simulation exercise and “war-gaming” session;
(3) Public Speaking and Presentation skills, including the use of PowerPoint; and the utilization of social media tools and related technology for civic activism, organizing and advocacy;
(4) Regional Trend Analysis, with a broad assessment of regional developments and major trends in the South Caucasus, the wider Middle East and Eurasia more broadly, with an added focus on the complex context of systemic change and geopolitical/economic shifts.
