The EU Delegation to Armenia announces vacancy for a paid internship at the Political, Press and Information Section

The EU Delegation to Armenia is looking for a full time paid intern starting from April 02, 2018

Main tasks:

• Contribute to political and economic reporting and analysis (in English);
• Attend meetings, conferences, seminars and write summary reports;
• Do research on various topics, translate from /into English-Armenian (applies to Armenian applicants only)
• Liaise with third parties under the supervision of the Head of Section and the Political Officer
• Support administrative tasks in the Delegation;
• Work independently.

 

Are you eligible for remunerated internship?

You may apply for the internship if:

• You are a young graduate with a University diploma (at least Bachelor degree) 
• You have less than 1 year of professional experience;
• You are a national of an EU Member State, pre-accession State or from the country where the Delegation is accredited (Armenia);
• You have no previous professional experience in any of the EU institutions of more than 6 weeks

Additional requirements that would be an asset

• Good working knowledge of Russian;
• Computer literacy;
• Knowledge of EU-Armenia relations, domestic political affairs and foreign relations of Armenia;

What are the general rules?

• Duration: the internship can last up to maximum of six months
• Monthly grant:  the selected intern will receive a monthly grant of 600 Euro
• Visa: the intern is responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of necessary visa
• Travel: the intern have to arrange and finance their travel to the EU Delegation

- Passport/ID card

- Insurance certificate (repatriation included)

- Medical certificate

- Signed internship agreement

- Legal Entity Form

- Bank account form (Armenian bank)

 

You are requested to examine the general eligibility criteria. Applications from non-eligible candidates will not be considered. After the evaluation of all applications is over, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for a written test and an interview. In case the selected candidate is not able to present all required documents, his/her candidacy will be rejected.
