JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Caucasus Institute is looking for a smart, motivated and energetic Social Media Specialist. He/she will be responsible for:
- setting up and maintaining a website and social media pages of the organization, maintaining and updating social media profiles,
- setting up and maintaining a blog and a YouTube channel;
- making, editing, designing videos.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and implement social media strategy of the Organization through messaging and audience identification;
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, media coverage, images, videos);
- Set up and optimize Organization pages within each platform to increase the
visibility of organization activities; - Continuously improve social media strategy of the Organization by capturing and analyzing appropriate data, insights and best practices, as well as acting accordingly.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant job experience
- Interest in political and social sciences
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Livejournal, YouTube, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills in English and Armenian (Russian is an asset)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Creativity, attention to details and problem solving skills
