Description
As part of CinéDoc - Tbilisi International Film Festival, Swedish filmmakers Karin Ekberg and Johanna Berhardson offer a second workshop for female documentary filmmakers from the South Caucasus region. The workshop is held in collaboration with Sakdoc Film and with the support of The Swedish Institute.
The workshop aims to empower female filmmakers in the beginning of their career and give them skills and confidence to reach an international level. The workshop also aims to raise an awareness of gender equality behind and in front of the camera, and a longterm change of attitudes.
The workshop dates are 19– 21 October 2016, in Tbilisi, Georgia
Eligibility
- Women filmmakers and producers from the Caucasus region who have documentary film projects in a development stage can apply to participate in this free training.
Costs
- Participation is free of charge. Accommodation, coffee/snack and lunches of selected participants is covered.
Application
Please note that working language of the workshop is English! All participants must be able to communicate in English and all attachments to application should be in English, including subtitles of film clips.
