The Champord Fund

Professional journalism requires experience, integrity, and strong ethical approaches. Considering the current reality and standard of written journalism in general in Armenia, Arianne Caoili has founded «The Champord Fund» to help train and direct young journalists and raise the standards of Armenia’s written media industry.

The main objectives of the fund are:

• develop freedom of the press,

• increase public awareness on issues of public policy and human rights

• develop civil society

• contribute towards the development of the sophistication Armenian’s journalism standard

• train the next generation of young professionals working in written media.

The Champord Fund is looking for spheres of cooperation with and open to donations from the public and organizations interested in sharing our vision. Your help is very important to us for promoting the quality of civil engagement and raising the standards of written journalism in Armenia.
