“Civil Society Perspectives on EU-Armenia Relations” discussion
The Partnership for Open Society Initiative, representing more than 60 civil society organizations, is pleased to invite you to participate in a public discussion on “Civil Society Perspectives on EU-Armenia Relations.”
As a prime trade partner, prime investor and prime donor, the European Union pays particular attention to the implementation of systemic reforms and ensuring protection of human rights.
Negotiations on the new EU-Armenia comprehensive legal document on future cooperation have started. Civil society perceives this process as an opportunity for deepening relations.
Representatives of civil society, diplomatic missions, international organizations and media, active citizens, independent experts, government officials and parliamentarians will have an opportunity to voice their opinion and recommendations on the new document determining the EU-Armenia cooperation framework.
The event will take place on July 15, at 9:45, at DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan Hotel (Grigor Lusavorich 4/2, Yerevan Armenia).
The draft agenda of the event is enclosed to the invitation. Simultaneous translation from Armenian to English and vice versa is provided.
