Art+X exhibition opening
Օn March 9 we will have the pleasure to launch our fourth event in the format Art+X which combines the exhibition of Armenian artists in the premises of our Embassy with the presentation of German Armenian Cooperation in various sectors.
In our fourth event, we will focus on Women’s Rights. For the German Federal Government, women’s rights policy plays an important role, and not just in the home affairs arena; the German Government also works to bolster women’s rights in its foreign and development policy. With the event we want to give a space for networking and exchange of relevant actors, particularly in the sectors of human rights and gender equality. I am especially glad to announce that we will have Ms. Astghik Mirzakhanyan, Secretary General of the Council on Men and Women Equity Issues of the Republic of Armenia, as a guest speaker. Our new art exhibition will show works by the Yerevan based Armenian painter Diana Hakobyan.
