Background:
Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) is looking for a highly qualified consultant or a team of consultants with specialization on reporting to UN human rights bodies to support EPF staff in the implementation of the “Supporting the alternative reporting in Armenia through GSP+” project. The goal of the project is to strengthen capacities of Armenian regional CSOs in producing high-quality, evidence-based alternative reports to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
The consultant(s) will be providing training and coaching assistance to a selected group of Armenian regional CSOs in drafting alternative reports for two upcoming submissions to UN Treaty bodies.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Human Rights or related fields;
- Good understanding of issues related to child rights, as well as economic, social and cultural rights in Armenia;
- Comprehensive knowledge of UN human rights mechanisms and how the civil society can contribute to and benefit from their work;
- Hands-on experience in conducting research, drafting and submitting alternative reports to the UN treaty bodies;
- Experience in preparation and delivery of trainings on human rights, including the UN human rights mechanisms will be an asset;
- Previous work experience with the UN human rights bodies will be an asset;
- Fluency in Armenian and English.
