CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 350TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST PRINTED BIBLE IN ARMENIAN

We are glad to announce that the project, titled “Pearl of Printing”, dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the first printed Bible in Armenian by Voskan Yerevantsi, which was submitted to UNESCO in 2016 by Mashtots Armenian Culture Preservation and Development Foundation has been approved.
  The project will be held in September, 2017.
  Within the framework of the project an international conference and a thematic exhibition will be organized at the “Matenadaran” Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. A bilingual album dedicated to the first printed bible in Armenian will be published as well. 
  Those who wish to participate, please fill out the attached Application Form and submit it to the following emails: [email protected]; [email protected] by 31 May, 2017. 
  15-20 minutes will be allotted to each paper.
  More 15 minutes will be allotted for questions and answers after each session. 
  The official languages of the conference are Armenian and English.
