E-Platform for Neighbourhood presentation
The College of Europe Natolin Campus was established in 1992 in the aftermath of the 1989 revolutions and in anticipation of the EU’s eastern enlargement. Today, the Natolin Campus is at the cutting edge of academic study of new developments in the EU and a centre of excellence specialised in Europe’s neighbouring countries and regions.
The Natolin Campus, with its mission to foster knowledge about the European integration process, Europe’s cultural and historical heritage, and the evolution of EU policies, is putting into operation a unique electronic platform and blended learning instruments: the E-Platform for Neighbourhood.
This comprehensive project encompasses and reinforces the understanding of various EU policies, and offers a wide range of free of charge educational solutions:
1) The distance learning component, consisting of 10 knowledge-based e-learning courses and 5 skills-building courses.
2) An Information Database System (IDS) with systematised public information and documentation on the EU, ENP, EU-ENP relations, and best practices.
3) An online Expert Forum, enabling participants’ discussions and exchanges with experienced practitioners and scholars.
Furthermore, the online component is accompanied by a series of face-to-face sessions/workshops for 150 best performing E-Platform participants (75 from ENP-East and 75 from ENP-South) which will take place in Poland in late August 2016. The participation, as well as training materials, is free of charge (including board and lodging, and travel expenses).
Ms Judyta Fiedin, the Team Leader of the E-Platform for Neighbourhood project, visits Armenia on 18-20 April. She will make a presentation and answer any questions at the Eurasia Partnership Foundation premises on 19 April at 12:30.
Ms Fiedin holds an M.A degree from the University of Warsaw and an M.Phil. degree in policy analysis from the RAND Graduate School of Policy Studies in Santa Monica, California. She worked in the Polish European integration structures; subsequently, she joined the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris where, in various capacities including the SIGMA programme and Partnership for Democratic Governance (PDG), she spent 13 years of her professional life. Prior to joining the College of Europe Natolin Campus, Ms Fiedin was the owner and general manager of her own consultancy company based in Paris.
