Kolba Cafe: Social Architecture: Hosting Anna Mikaelian Meschian and David Malek
Dear colleagues,
Please join us for the end-of-the-year Kolba Café as we experience and explore what it means to build a community through awareness and a shared purpose.
The meeting will feature an interactive lightening talk by Anna Mikaelian Meschian and David Malek, both classically-trained professional musicians, who believe in the idea of taking the intensity of the artist's experience and applying it to all aspects of life.
About the project: The Nexus Project is a new initiative from Sistema Armenia, an organization founded on the idea of using orchestra as a metaphor for community, in order to help the youth of Armenia develop the skills they need to become creative and engaged citizens.
Nexus is an alternative education program which utilizes critical thinking, the creative arts and theatre design and production, to teach the core concepts of the power of community, awareness and a building mindset.
