Course Description
Negotiation is inseparable part of our daily activities. Negotiation takes place at every moment of our lives at home, in the workplace, and on international arena. The full day lecture will provide participants with underlying negotiation theory to enable them to be successful while negotiating with other parties. It will also help participants find their own negotiation style by using their personal competitive advantage during negotiations process.
As a result of the lecture participants will
- Get knowledge on theory of negotiation strategies and approaches.
- Get awareness of their own negotiation style, while capitalizing on their strengths and identifying development areas.
- Be able to negotiate while using systemic frameworks developed by outstanding negotiation scholars and practitioners.

Lecturer`s profile
Diana Gaziyan has extensive experience of working with USAID funded projects in Armenia in the area of decentralization and achieving stronger local governance. For around eight years she was the Chief Executive Officer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia. Ms. Gaziyan received her Master of Science (MS) degree in Management from Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. She has recently graduated from Harvard Kennedy School of Government with a degree of Master of Public Administration (MPA). She has been a participant in a number of renowned programs on leadership and governance.
