DESCRIPTION
The manual “Corporate Secretary in the Corporate Governance System” is aimed to present the corporate secretary as a polymath of corporate relations. The latter has a central role in maintaining corporate relations and improving corporate decisions. Therefore, the manual concentrated on the duties of the corporate secretary, his/her roles conditioned by those duties as well as the peculiarities of investing them in the Armenian corporate reality.
TARGET GROUPS
The presentation may be of interest to a broad audience: researchers, lecturers and students engaged in corporate governance issues, public and media representatives, as well as shareholders and businessmen.
AUTHOR’S SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Narine Melikyan is the Director of Corporate Governance Centre. She is a lawyer- economist. She graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy, took PhD studies at the Institute of Economics of NAS of RA, as well as the Slavonic Institute for Business (Moscow, RF). She is a candidate in Economics.
She authored more than 50 articles and the book named “Family Business in Armenia”. She is a co-author of the “Armenian investment guide – 2005” manual and the book named “Investments in Armenia: A Guarantee for Economic Development (problems, approaches, solutions)”. Narine’s work in private sector (“Capital Investments” CJSC investment company) is accompanied with the scientific-pedagogical activities. She is a lecturer at the Yerevan State University.
