PROJECT GRANTS TO ARTISTS BY ARMENIA ART FOUNDATION
(NOVEMBER 2016 – DECEMBER 2017)
Armenia Art Foundation (AA Foundation) provides financial support to artists working in the field of contemporary art, to stimulate the development of contemporary art in Armenia.
Project Grants to Artists are designed for artists or collectives, working in the field of contemporary art in different media, including performance art, photography, audio-visual, digital and media art, and art in public spaces. The program is open for graduate students and professional artists alike.

ARMENIA ART FOUNDATION
Armenia Art Foundation (AA Foundation) is an independent non-profit organization aiming to support the development of contemporary art in Armenia. Based in Yerevan, it was established in 2016 by David Nazaryan and Rafael Nazaryan. The mission of the Foundation is to support professionals working in Armenia in the field of contemporary art, and to unlock their creative potential both in the country and abroad.
ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board of the Foundation is a collegial body that provides expertise in regard to developing and implementing the Foundation’s strategic plan. The Advisory Board shares and supports the mission and goals of the Foundation, and contributes ideas, research and knowledge to strengthen the Foundation’s work.

Viktor Misiano, independent curator, art theorist, founder and editor-in-chief of Moscow Art Magazine
Jack Persekian, curator, founder and director of Anadiel Gallery and Al-Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art in Jerusalem
Christina Steinbrecher-Pfandt, curator, artistic director of Viennacontemporary art fair
