French Armenian Development Foundation

French Armenian Development Foundation operates in the following 4 areas: migration, community development ( through the civil society development) child protection and right protection of  people with disabilities. 

The vision of the organization - to have a powerful country and self-sustaining State.

The mission of the organization:

• - Contribute to the implementation of social, cultural, educational and scientific initiatives
• - Develop, promote and implement projects for sustainable development
• - To support and contribute to social development and economic growth of Armenia   

The main areas of the organization’s activity are migration, community development, child protection, advocacy for persons with disabilities.

The beneficiaries aremMigrants, repatriates, small rural communities, community based non-governmental organizations and civil society associations, children in difficult life situations and with special educational needs, persons with disabilities and their family members, professionals working with children with disabilities and special educational needs. 

The tangible results/significant achievements of the organization: 

• - The establishment of deaf education and referral center and the promotion of legislative  recognition of Armenian sign language,
• - Reintegration of more than 1500 returned migrants and support to the creation of 275 small enterprises,
• - The improvement of social, health and educational services for children with mental health problems through the development and advocacy of the package of legislative proposals (All the proposals have been adopted by RA Government and National Assembly
