Investigative Journalists

The "Investigative Journalists" Non-Governmental Organization has been promoting the development of the investigative journalism through the 15 years of its operation. The main investigation spheres are Armenia’s judicial system, activity of legislative and executive bodies, legal enforcement system, environment, armed forces and human rights protection. Investigations of "Hetq” journalists have often served as a basis for serious changes in these spheres, several criminal cases have been initiated in the result of revealing offshore scandals and other scandalous stories. The vision of the organization is the rooting of freedom of speech, high professional standards, free media and democratic principles, public discourse and the establishment of the civil society.
