Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development

The Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development has been operating in Armenia since 2004. During these years the organization has been trying to contribute to democratization of Armenia and dignified life standards of citizen, through strengthening the local self-government, local civil non governmental organization, mobilizing the community, as well as promoting regional cooperation. Among various achievements, the organization has developed concrete mechanisms for civil participation, innovative models for youth education, established regional youth network, conducted research in the field of housing policy, as well as has invested green technologies in the communities. The vision of the Urban Sustainable Development Foundation is “Dignified life in a healthy environment.”
