Design for Social Impact: Workshops
Source: www.theproper.company
Social Design – What is it and why does it matter? We believe that good design makes a positive impact on the world around us, and then it becomes social design. And social design has huge power. It can transform where we are today into where we want to be tomorrow. Design can turn problems into opportunities. Design can change society. So design for social impact really matters, for everyone.
And for a fast developing country such as Armenia, the transformational power of design can play a central role in our social growth and economic prosperity. That role becomes even more powerful when specialists from many different disciplines collaborate with designers, to create new and truly sustainable solutions for social and environmental issues. That’s why we are creating a specific environment, to raise awareness of design as one of the most powerful routes to addressing the challenges we all face.
