Mass media and local NGOs Partnership Announcement

The National Social Housing Association Foundation (ASBA) within the project EU4 Civil Society:Energy Efficiency in Armenian Communities, announces a partnership invitation for public sector organizations and mass media operating in Lori, Tavush, Kotayk, Gegharkunik and Ararat marzes to promote public awareness and community initiatives in regional communities to address energy efficiency issues.
Interested organizations can take part in the pre-competitive stage by submitting a letter of interest to the organization by email: [email protected].

Please indicate the following information in the letter:
1. Short information about the organization (date of registration, mission, staff).
2. Similar projects implemented (region, funding, beneficiaries).
3. The organization's resources that will contribute to the project (office, property, vehicle).
4. Brief overview of joining the project.
5. Information about partner and support organizations.
6. Information on work experience with communities and local authorities.
7. Additional information that will support the application for joining the project.
Selected organizations will be able to improve their public awareness capacities and effective collaboration skills with local governments as well as will be able to participate in grant competition contests.
Brief description of the project:
ASBA Foundation together with partners from Holland, Germany and Czech Republic started a project to address this important issue in rural communities by increasing awareness and implementing practical measures to improve energy utilization pattern, increase quality of life and reduce energy bills.
The goal of the project is to develop the public awareness-raising capacities of local NGOs and mass media to enable them to work in urban and rural communities,
• Raise awareness of the population on energy efficiency and their effective application;
• mobilize community resources for community energy efficiency initiatives, collaborating with local authorities and private companies.
