Yerevan Press Club

Yerevan Press Club non-governmental organization is supporting to the development of free, independent and quality mass media in Armenia throughout the 20 years of its active operation, contributing to the civil society and democratic reforms in Armenia.  The organization carries out research in media and political fields, organizes trainings for journalists, undertakes  steps towards legislative reforms and enforcement of journalists’ professional ethics. In particular, the organization has contributed to the adoption of “The Law on Mass Media” in 2003 and the investment of the media self-regulation system in 2007. YPC is also undertaking steps to enlarge the contacts between the Armenian and foreign mass media and journalists.
